The name Pizaz Pool Service has deep roots in a long history of family ventures and coastal living. It all began with a yacht in San Diego named Pizaz, which inspired the name today. After taking a short break from the pool industry, the family transitioned into the sport fishing business, where they became well known throughout the San Diego community. Following a successful 10 years in sport fishing, they returned to their pool service roots and founded Desert Valley Pool Service in Las Vegas, Nevada, building the company for 23 years. Eventually, the family decided to move to the East Coast, carrying with them decades of experience and memories from every chapter of their journey. The name Pizaz Pool Service was chosen to honor that full history—blending their beginnings on the water, their time in fishing, and their long-standing commitment to pool care into one unified identity.
Now firmly planted in Port Charlotte, we are proud to serve the community we call home. We don't just maintain pools; we protect your family's favorite gathering spot with the precision that Southwest Florida's tropical climate demands.
Mike Norton
With 36 years in the pool industry, Mike brings decades of hands-on experience and proven expertise to Port Charlotte. His career began as a pool manager at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, where he developed a strong foundation in large-scale pool operations. He later built on that experience by purchasing a small service route in San Diego, growing his skills in residential pool care. Before relocating to Florida, Mike founded Desert Valley Pool Service in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he spent years building a trusted and respected business known for quality and reliability.
